Kevin Sport ('89)
Kevin is singer/songwriter born in Greenville, Al. After graduating from GHS, Kevin played baseball, played music and went to college (SAU, Troy). He also performed at Faulkner University’s Dinner Theater. Kevin served in the army reserves, and after his service, his musical aspirations took him to Nashville (1995), where he worked for Bob White Music Company and Judy Harris Music Company as a demo singer and songwriter. Kevin performed at different venues, including matinee shows at the Grand Ole Opry. By 2002, Kevin had tired of the rigors of Nashville and had almost given up on music. He moved back to Greenville, and is now writing again with Wishbone Studio in Muscle Shoals & Nashville. He recorded his first album, and is the host of “The Right Place,” a TV show on Direct TV channel 608. Kevin and producer Allen Matthews formed GoodSport Productions after the first taping of his show which was filmed at the Ritz Theater in Greenville (Oct 2008). In 2010 Kevin’s show will be available in over 80 million households through cable and television. www.kevinsporttv.com

Carolyn Messina ('86)
Carolyn, a graduate of the William Esper Studio, was an Irene Ryan Award regional finalist and toured the Southeast extensively in the award-winning one-woman show Womenfolks by Brad Bailey. Regional work includes Alma in Summer and Smoke, Mo in The Kathy and Mo Show, Jolene in 6 Women with Brain Death, Charlotte in Charlotte's Web National Tour at Town Hall, and two steamy summers at Georgia Shakespeare Festival. New York credits include CTRL+ALT+Delete, The State of Tennessee, The Sessions, and Fin and Euba (Strawberry One-Act Festival), as Euba, a role which earned her the award for best actress.

Audrey "Leigh" Redick Cefaly ('86)
Audrey is a playwright / screenwriter, actor and director. Her original one-acts have won the Virginia, Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Eastern States One-Act Festivals. She won a WATCH nomination for her role as Shawna in Coyote on a Fence and a Best Actress award for her role as Annelle in New Hope, her first original work. Together with Carolyn Messina, their production of Fin and Euba, a play inspired by Audrey's life in Greenville, won the 2006 Strawberry One-Act Festival in New York. Fin and Euba, a featured theatrical event in tonight's gala, is now published in Best American Short Plays 2004.

Anthony "Wojamm" Womack ('72)
Tony Womack (aka "WoJamm") was born in Greenville, Alabama and learned to play the trumpet in the 5th grade. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a major in Music Education with emphasis on playing and performing professionally on both piano and trumpet. He is an alumnus of the Interlochen National Music Camp, University of Michigan. Wojamm has performed with Aretha Franklin, Cab Calloway, CeCe Winans, Michael Henderson, Althea Renae & Shiron Denise. |
